Samo godinu dana nakon velike tragedije, koja je zadesila obitelj danskog milijardera Andersa Holcha Povlsena, i njegove supruge Anne, kada su na Uskrs u bombaškom napadu na hotel Shangri-La, u Colombu, glavnom gradu Šri Lanki, izgubili troje djece, a samo je njihova najstarija kći Astrid jedina preživjela strašan teroristički čin, u obitelj su stigla dva nova, malena člana….

U obitelji Andersa Holch Povlsena, poznatog i kao ‘Kralja Škotske’, ali i većinskog vlasnika najveće internetske trgovine ASOS, i njegova supruga Anne, ponovno imaju veliki razlog za sreću. Naime, 47-godišnji Anders Holch Povlsen i njegova supruga Anne postali su roditelji blizanki. I to samo nešto manje od godinu dana otkako je u bombaškom napadu na Šri Lanki poginulo njegovo troje djece.

Mr Povlsen, 46, who is Scotland’s biggest landowner, is ready to fund a new showpiece health hub for remote communities in Tongue, Scotland. Anders Holch Povlsen’s UK company Wildland is in discussions to secure Church of Scotland land in the Highlands and is prepared to provide additional money to realise the scheme. Mr Povlsen has 13 estates in Scotland, and before the attacks had told how he wanted to pass on his dream of rewilding the land to his children because he will not live long enough to see it through. Sadly, three of his children died on Easter Sunday when suicide bombers attacked churches and hotels in Sri Lanka. This leaves him with one child, a daughter named Astrid. Mr Povlsen confirmed that his son Alfred and daughters Alma and Agnes were killed in the Easter Sunday attacks. The discussions with Wildland began prior to the Sri Lankan tragedy. But, in spite of the tragedy, he is going ahead with the project. ‘Dva mala čuda’, riječi su kojima su supružnici Anders i Anna opisali djevojčice rođene danas u Kopenhagenu.

‘Anne i Anders Holch Povlsen postali su roditelji dviju zdravih djevojčica, nakon lake trudnoće i poroda bez komplikacija. Obitelj je punog srca dočekala dva mala čuda. Jako su uzbuđeni što će upoznavati djevojčice i što su došle kao potvrda života’, stoji u priopćenju koje potpisuje njihova osobna tajnica Kristine Monster.
U terorističkom napadu koji se lani dogodio na Šri Lanki ubijene su njihove kćeri Alma i Agnes te sin Alfred. Preživjela je samo najstarija kći Astrid. Djeca su s majkom na Šri Lanki bila na uskrsnim praznicima.

U svibnju prošle godine velika je tuga vladala na posljednjem ispraćaju troje djece 47 -godišnjeg Danca Andersa Holch Povlsena, poznatog i kao ‘Kralja Škotske’, ali i većinskog vlasnika najveće internetske trgovine ASOS, koja su smrtno stradala na Uskrs u bombaškom napadu na hotel Shangri-La, u Colombu, glavnom gradu Šri Lanki.

Asos billionaire’s three children killed in Sri Lanka terror attacks are laid to rest The three children of Asos tycoon, Anders Holch Povlsen who were killed in the Sri Lanka bombings have been laid to rest. The funeral for Alfred, Alma and Agnes held on Saturday, May 4 2019. Povlsen, 46, who is Denmark’s richest man, comforted wife Anne and daughter Astrid as flower-decked coffins for Alfred, Alma and Agnes arrived at the service at Aarhus Cathedral in Denmark.The three coffins were decorated with flowers, balloons and portraits of the children as it was carried out of the church before the burial. The Danish Royal Family and the country’s Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen attended the service. Crown Princess Mary could be seen holding her daughter Princess Isabella next to son Prince Vincent and daughter Princess Josephine. The Asos billionaire and his family were staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo when it was hit on Easter Sunday by suicide bombers Zahran Hashim and Ilham Ibrahim. Povlsen, his wife, and one of their daughters survived. But son Alfred and daughters Alma and Agnes were killed. Povlsen je naslijedio danski trgovački lanac Bestseller koji je procijenjen na oko 4,5 milijardi funti. On je i najveći dioničar u poznatoj online trgovini Asos te drugi najveći dioničar u njemačkoj online trgovini Zalando.

Posjeduje čak 89 tisuća hektara zemlje na kojima se prostire 12 vrlo vrijednih imanja, i kako je ranije otkrio: ‘projekt očuvanja je cjeloživotni pa svojoj djeci želim ostaviti u naslijeđe i imanja i želju da se, putem projekta Wildland, preobraze dijelovi Škotske, vraćajući ugrožene vrste i oživljavajući davno izgubljena staništa‘.

U otvorenom pismu objavljenom prošle godine netom prije tragedije na internetskoj stranici tvrtke, gospodin Povlsen i njegova supruga, 40-godišnja Anne Storm Pedersen napisali su da će projekt potrajati dulje od čitavog života kako bi ga dovršila njihova djeca nakon smrti.
